Somerset is a neighborhood on a large hill in Bellevue, Washington located on "the Eastside" of Lake Washington. The highly ranked schools (see more below) and central location make this a very desirable area to reside. Easy access to 2 main Freeways, (I-405 & I-90), provides simple commuting into Downtown Seattle, Downtown Bellevue, Redmond, Issaquah or even Sea-Tac International Airport.
Living in Somerset offers residents a dense suburban feel with some of the most spectacular views including Lake Washington, the Olympic Mountains, Downtown Seattle, glimpses of the Puget Sound, Downtown Bellevue, Mount Baker, Lake Sammamish even Mount Rainier, depending on where you are at on the hill.
The Somerset Community Association provides CCRs, a quarterly newsletter and plans an Annual 4th of July Parade and picnic for all to attend and enjoy.
The Somerset Recreation Club is a separate entity with an outdoor pool, boasting stunning views, tennis court, pickle ball court and provides a wonderful gathering place for the community. Swim lessons and a strong swim team are also staples of the organization.
